- Worked for 12 years at Endeavour Energy (Formally Integral Energy, NSW) for System Operation.
Today Ray is a HV Stick and G&B Trainer & Assessor for Sandcorp Pty Ltd delivering HV live work Hot Stick to 66kV and G&B to 33kkV training and refreshers based on the National Transmission & Distribution training package across the Australian ESI Network.
Responsibility
Ray is responsible for the delivery of training and assessment in HV live line work in distribution and sub Transmission lines up to 66kV. He has extensive knowledge and experience in the delivery of the following training packages….
- UETDRDO004 – Maintain energised HV distribution overhead electrical apparatus (stick)
- UETDRDO003 – Maintain energised HV distribution overhead electrical apparatus (glove)
Experience
Ray commenced his career with the State Electricity Commission of Victoria over 4 decades ago as an apprentice linesman. Gaining extensive industry experience in Live Line Stick up to 66kV and Glove & Barrier up to 33kV including related training and assessment services in the techniques. He has performed numerous roles in the Electricity Supply Industry including HV live work trainer, educator and mentor.
