 HV Stick and G&B trainer & assessor for Sandcorp Pty Ltd since 1997 delivering HV live work Hot Stick to 66kV and G&B to 33kkV training courses from the National Transmission & Distribution training package and annual refresher training/competency assessments across the Australian ESI Network. 

Responsibility
 Murray is responsible for the delivery of training and assessment in HV live line work in distribution and sub Transmission lines up to 66kV. He has extensive knowledge and experience in the delivery of the following training packages…. 

  • UETDRDO004 – Maintain energised HV distribution overhead electrical apparatus (stick)
  • UETDRDO003 – Maintain energised HV distribution overhead electrical apparatus (glove)

Experience
 Murray commenced his career with the State Electricity Commission of Victoria over 4 decades ago as an apprentice linesman. He undertook Hot Stick training up to 66kV in 1984, G&B training up to 33kV in 1992 followed by decades of live line field work and then decades of related training and assessment services. He has performed numerous roles in the Electricity Supply Industry including construction supervisor, HV live work trainer and educator, mentor, and consultant to many companies across Australia and New Zealand.

 Murray has dedicated many years of service to the promotion of safe work practices in his chosen field and has a long history of participation in HV live work practices, HV live work training and assessment, work practices development, promoting safe methods of work.
